Birchbox is a monthly beauty box that typically includes regular and deluxe size samples of haircare, skincare, perfume, and makeup products.
Birchbox Points System: You will receive 10 points for each box. You also receive 10 points for reviewing each product in your box. 100 points = $10 to spend in the Birchbox shop.
Each month, Birchbox offers subscribers a choice between a guest editor box and the regular monthly box. This month I chose the regular box.
Birchbox always includes an informational card that details each of the month’s products.
Malin + Goetz Clarifying Clay Mark ($7.08): This mask exfoliates and helps to treat blemishes. Plus, it only takes about ten minutes once per week. Works for me!
Coastal Scents styleEYES Eyeshadow Palette ($.62): I have tons of Coastal Scents shadows thanks to all of my subscriptions. These shadows are very pigmented and have a nice shimmer. The colors are a bit dark for me but I think they would make gorgeous liners.
L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil Nourishing Masque ($13.80): I didn’t expect to see L’Oreal in Birchbox but this looks like a great product. This is a hair masque that helps to balance your hair’s natural oils and nourish dry strands. My ends are super dry (thanks to all of the heat products I use!) so I really hope this one works!
Serge Normant Dream Big Instant Volumizing Spray ($10): This was my sample choice this month. This reminds me somewhat of a dry shampoo. The scent is very fresh and clean. This will be a product I use a lot when I curl my hair to add extra volume and texture.
theBalm Cosmetics FratBoy Blush (~$2): theBalm always has the cutest packaging! This blush is not super pigmented but it adds a very fresh, natural glow. It also blends very well.
Verdict: The total value of this month’s Birchbox is about $33.50 which is so incredible! This box included some familiar brands but some new products. I can’t wait to try them all out!
