Pooch Perks includes a detailed informational card that lists the items in each box.

Each month, Pooch Perks introduces a “theme.” The theme of this month’s box is “Back to School.”

Pound Bakery Trail Mix ($8):  I could not find this particular mix online so I am guessing at the value. The mix is packed with protein, complex carbs, and other wholesome ingredients that energize your dog while also satisfying their taste buds. I love that Pooch Perks sends wholesome, nutritious treats and our dogs seem to appreciate them too!

Exclusively Dog Jerkeez Pizza Flavored Treat ($4.59): These treats are free of wheat, corn, soy, and sugar. The dogs really enjoyed these. They were gobbled up quickly!

PetLou Dinosaur ($10): This is another one I am estimating the price on. This is a cute little guy but unfortunately, he may not last long in our house. As you all know, our dogs are a bit rough on plush toys!

Grooming Wipes ($5): I am estimating the price on these as well. These wipes come in so handy! We use them to wipe the dogs paws before they come in the house or get in the car.

Pet Qwerks Newspaper ($7): This is one of the “crunchy” type toys. It sounds like it has crumpled newspaper inside (which of course would be perfect!) I ended up passing this one on to my Mom’s dog however since it is a bit more delicate and would be shredded if we gave to our three dogs.

Gralen Kong Sport Balls ($5.25): I love the Kong brand so I was thrilled to see this set of tennis balls. Remy can destroy a regular tennis ball within minutes. However, these are made with extra thick rubber to make them tougher. We will have hours of fun playing fetch with these!

Redbarn Roofles with Natural Maple Flavor Dog Treats ($1.39): These treats are so cute because they look like little waffles! They are made with chopped rawhide and topped with natural maple flavor. Ruby Sue got this one and she ate it in about two minutes. Our dogs don’t really slow down to savor their treats!

img_4071

Smokehouse Prime Slice Beef Tenderloin ($1.50): This treat is high in protein and low in fat. It is made with 100% beef tenderloin. This will also help to clean your dog’s teeth and gums.

img_4064

Squeak n Snap ($14.95): You can plug this little bear into your phone and use it to get your dog’s attention when taking a photo. It has a squeaker in it so it’s great at getting your dog to look at your camera. The website also says that it works for babies!

Here are a few photos using the Squeak n Snap:

Verdict: The total value of this month’s Pooch Perks is around $57.68. I really enjoyed this month. I love the whole some treats and the toys were a big hit. I especially love the Squeak n Snap!!
