PopSugar Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription for women. Boxes include a variety of exclusive and trendy items including beauty products, food/snacks, lifestyle items, and fashion accessories. Aside from the monthly box, PopSugar also offers limited edition boxes from time to time.

Cost: $39.95/month

IMG_3380

PopSugar includes an information card that lists all of the products along with their values.

IMG_3382

Hat Attack Diamonds-Printed Sarong ($58): This was the only spoiler we got for the June box and everyone seemed pretty excited about it. I actually don’t own a sarong so this is a nice addition for me. I like then neutral colors a lot. I just bought a new black swimsuit so this will work perfectly for me.

IMG_3383

Sisters of Los Angeles “Cheers” Gold Bottle Opener ($12): I think a bottle opener seems a little out of place in a summer box personally. I think this would have been a better fit for a New Year’s Eve box. It’s a nice quality bottle opener but T and I don’t drink so I’m not sure if we will get much use from this.

IMG_3386

Wild & Wolf Ridley’s Games Room “Who Am I” Quiz ($12.95): This game reminds me of “20 Questions.” We always end up playing board games at our family’s Fourth of July parties so I think this will be a fun one to bring along!

IMG_3390

NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Lacquer ($16): NCLA polishes are cruelty-free. I have received them in other boxes but this patriotic glitter is new to me. I love it! It can be worn alone or over another polish. I am going to use this for glitter tips over white polish.

IMG_3388
Knock Knock Are You Ready for Your Close Up? Compact ($10): This isn’t particularly exciting item but it’s useful. It’s double sided and will come in handy I’m sure. I’ll throw this in my purse for on the go makeup touch-ups and emergency eyebrow plucking!

IMG_3389

Pacifica Underarm Deodarant Wipes ($9): These wipes neutralize underarm odors for hours. It’s already over 90 degrees in Kentucky so I am putting these in my purse immediately. These are aluminum-free and vegan.

IMG_3394

Pressels Sriracha ($1.29): These chips are lower in fat and sodium than other types of potato chips. They have a bit of a kick to them thanks to the sriracha. I don’t care for spicy snacks so these will go to T.

IMG_3395
Verdict: The total value of this month’s box is $119.24. It’s not my favorite PopSugar box but I do really love the nail polish, the sarong and the game!

Little Lace Box Review – April 2016

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.

IMG_5208

Little Lace Box is a bi-monthly subscription box and includes hand-curated and designer products. Each box includes a variety of items included beauty products, home decor, food, and fashion accessories.  This is one of my favorite subscription boxes because it is well curated and has introduced me to some wonderful products.
Cost: $49.99/bi-monthly
Ships to U.S. via 2-day Priority Mail
IMG_5212
LLB always includes a detailed letter that describes the products in this month’s box along with their value.
IMG_5213
The theme of this month’s box is “The City That Never Sleeps” and features products from New York City.
Stern Design Works – Mini Brass Leaf & Puddle Ring ($28): LLB did not include this item in the box. Instead, subscribers received a coupon code so that they could order the ring in their size. I received my coupon code the day after I received the box and I’ve already ordered my ring!
IMG_5211
Bellapierre Hydra-Surge Body Butter ($80): This body butter is made with ultra fine diamond powder (explains the price!) It’s so rich and thick! The smell is very soft and reminds me of shea butter. I love this and it really helps to combat my remaining dry winter skin! Some subscribers received the exfoliating body scrub instead of the body cream.
IMG_5226
Travel Laundry Bag by Flight Patterns ($29): This bag can be used to store dirty clothes while travelling or at the gym. This pattern was specifically designed for LLB. The one downside to this is that you cannot wash it (only spot clean) which seems a little odd to me since it’s made to hold spoiled laundry.
IMG_5215
Claudia Pearson Designs Tea Towel ($16): There were a variety of designs sent out and all of the ones I have seen are cute! I love the retro look of this tea towel.
IMG_5217
Beekman 1802 Aloe & Iris Lip Balm ($8): This balm is made with natural ingredients like goat’s milk, Vitamin E, and beeswax. Some subscribers received Wondermint. I like this balm a lot but sadly, it was misplaced while I was taking pictures for the blog. I’m sure it will turn up though!!
“99 Problems” Notepad ($4.99): I didn’t realize until writing this post that I forgot to take a picture of this notepad! LLB designed this notepad as an homage to Jay Z who was born in Brooklyn. It’s a fun design and I can always use more notepads!
IMG_5220
Rifle Paper Co. Mother’s Day Card ($4.50): With Mother’s Day coming up, LLB thought it was a good idea to include a beautiful card. I love the designs from Rifle Paper and I think my Mom will love this too. I”ve seen a variety of designs that other subscribers have received and they have all been gorgeous. The inside is blank so you can write your own heartfelt message.
IMG_5209
Knot & Bow Confetti ($4.50): Knot & Bow is apparently a cute store in Brooklyn. I thought the confetti was an odd inclusion but LLB suggests adding it to a card for a fun surprise or using it as a party decoration. It’s really cute though so I am sure I can include it in an upcoming card making project.
IMG_5219
Verdict: The total value of this box is nearly $175! I think this was another solid and well curated box from LLB. I especially love the body butter and the ring! I love that LLB allowed us to choose the size of the ring as well. I think that just feels so much more personal.
Did you receive this month’s Little Lace Box? What did you think? If you would like to subscribe in time to get the June box, click here to check out the website.
The theme of the June box is “Heavenly Day – Dine Alfresco.” Here is the inspiration for the June box:

Since starting Little Lace Box, we’ve gotten to know many of our subscribers on a personal level. This is an experience that has been both rewarding and heartbreaking, because there are a lot of people out there who are truly hurting. We’ve tried to be helpful whenever possible, and when we do, we see their smiles shining right through our keyboards. Last year on a visit to Chicago, we were lucky enough to experience something called Ravinia Festival. It’s a place just outside of Chicago, and for those of you from Chicago, you probably can say much more about it than I, but while I was there, for one brief shining moment, all my troubles went away. Not for long; not forever, but it made me wish that everyone have a day when their troubles go away. And I thought of the Patty Griffin song, “Heavenly Day.” Patty sings,

“No one at my shoulder bringing me fears Got no clouds up above me bringing me tears
On this Heavenly…heavenly day, all the troubles gone away
for a while anyway, for a while anyway”

Little Lace Box is a bi-monthly subscription box and includes hand-curated and designer products. Ships to U.S. via 2-day Priority Mail
LLB always includes a detailed letter that describes the products in this month’s box along with their value. Unfortunately, I did not receive a letter in my box this month. I emailed LLB’s customer service and they quickly sent me a .pdf of the informational letter however.
This month’s theme is “Love Letters.” I also want to point out that LLB shipped this box early so that subscribers would receive it in time for Valentine’s Day.

IMG_4898
Letters to My Love by Lea Redmond ($14.99): This is a book of letter prompts for you to write sweet notes to your partner/spouse. The letters have prompts like “When we first met…” and ” I promise to you…” This is such a sweet idea and I plan to  use these to write letters to T over the next year.
IMG_4899
IMG_4904
“I Love Hearts” Canvas Tote by Vine Street Market USA ($35.99): This tote came folded up. I’ve added a photo below the of the full tote. I left the pocket out for the photo. This tote is really large and can hold up to 60lbs. The pocket is large enough for a wallet, keys, and/or phone. My Mom actually saw this tote at my house earlier today and really loved it so I passed it on to her.
IMG_4905
IMG_4901
Porcelain Inside Out Tea Cup & Saucer ($8.99): This teacup and saucer are from Oprah’s Favorite Things. The inside of the cup is heart shaped so when it is filled with liquid, it will look like a heart. I don’t drink tea often but I think this will be so pretty on my dresser as a ring holder/catch all.
IMG_4903
Ever Mine Red Metallic Executive Pen ($8.99): I love that LLB included a pen with the love letters book. LLB had these pens inscribed with Ever Mine to match the theme of this box. This is a black ball point pen and it does write very smoothly.
IMG_4900
Wild Ophelia Peanut Butter Cups by Katrina Markoff ($2.99): Katrina Markoff’s mission is to activate a moment of female entrepreneurs. Proceeds from each sale go to help fund this mission. I received this peanut butter cups in Carmelized Banana and I can honestly say, they are the best peanut butter cups I’ve ever tasted. The banana flavor was very subtle and the chocolate was rich and creamy.
Deny Me Throw Pillow ($39.99): LLB will be sending subscribers a special coda via email so that they can purchase a 16×16 throw pillow from Deny Me Designs. They offer 9000+ designs so I am so excited to select my pillow! Shipping is included in this as well.
IMG_4907
Verdict: The total value of this month’s Little Lace Box is $111.94. I think is one of the best LLB boxes to date. My favorite item will be the throw pillow for sure! I cannot wait to pick that out!
Did you receive this month’s Little Lace Box? What did you think? If you would like to subscribe in time to get the April box, click here to check out the website.
The theme of the April box will be “Step, Kick, Kick, Leap, Touch, Kick.” It will celebrate the unofficial opening season of Broadway and will include amazing finds from New York City artisans.
